I was trying to do some work on Shadows last night, but the in-game camera controls were going wonky... I was shooting in a high-rise in Bridgeport, and Q would take me floors below, and E would take me way up in the sky.  Right and left arrows would shoot me across the room and out of the building.  I have no idea what would be causing this or how ( Read more... )

There is this really annoying ticking noise when I play the Sims. It's whenever I play, even in shop mode. But it's not there while saving the game. I have no idea how to stop it!

I have everything updated.

Can anyone help, please?

Okay this is a problem I've had for pretty much as long as I've had Ambitions. Generally this happens when I move my families to new neighborhoods and their inventory goes boom. My Sim family of 6 just had triplets, so now there are 9 Sims in the house, but I can only see 8 of the icons. I have story progression and master controller set to allow more than 8 per house, but I can't figure out how to get all 9 icons to show up on the left...I'm sure there's info somewhere but hell if I can find it. Any help appreciated.

Since installing The Sims 3 Pets, I had some issues with my game. First my pets didn't have any 'real' furr, but after some messing with my graphic card, I did get it.
But now I'm having another annoying bug in my game. All my plants, flowers and trees are some kind of squares and I have no idea how to fix this.

I've just got myself a new laptop with a bigger hard-drive etc. and have been trying for 4 hours to install the Sims 3 basegame. During the installation process it keeps coming up with this message 'Error: Data error (cylic redundancy check)' with the buttons 'Retry' and 'Cancel'.
